Little Company Pediatrician Named One of the Country’s Best

The Consumers’ Research Council of America recently named Dr. Annita John, a pediatrician at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers, one of America’s Top Pediatricians. Only a select few health care providers who meet specific criteria receive this recognition.

Dr. John has practiced at Little Company for 18 years, and recently served as the Chair of the Pediatrics Department for 8 years.

Advocate South Suburban Hospital announces new director of business development

Advocate South Suburban Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Daugherty as director of business development. Daugherty has more than 15 years experience in health care strategic planning, financial operations, and business development.

From 1994 through 2000, Daugherty served in several positions of growing responsibilities at Ingalls Hospital initially as a business development analyst and, ultimately, as project manager. He has a solid background in financial operations and marketing. Among his many accomplishments at Ingalls Hospital, he facilitated cardiovascular service line planning that led to an increase in volume and designation as a Top 100 hospital. He also directed the conversion of an offsite urgent care facility into a satellite emergency department.

Most recently, Daugherty served as assistant director for ambulatory services at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) Medical Center, where he provided financial and operational support for 25 hospital-based physician centers, as well as planning and implementation for a neurosciences center of excellence at UIC.

At Advocate South Suburban Hospital, Daugherty will be working closely with hospital administration and the medical staff in leading and developing strategic planning.

Costabile Named Amerinet Central President and CFO

The Amerinet Central board of directors has named Michael Costabile president and CFO of Amerinet Central, one of two investor-owners of Amerinet.

In his expanded role, Costabile will work closely with Amerinet’s board and leadership team in their efforts to integrate operations, product development and sales nationally.

In addition, he will provide executive leadership to the organization’s business lines, including DataBay Resources™ data management and analysis and Inquisit® educational programming.

Costabile has been Amerinet Central’s CFO since 2003 when he was promoted from senior director of finance and accounting/controller. He has played an active role in strategic planning for the new Amerinet business model and has conducted business and strategic planning, financial modeling and analysis, process improvement, system implementation and legal, regulatory and tax planning and resolution for Amerinet Central.
